By HIS extensive travel as a mendicant, the knowledge about different people, situations and life all across India, was revealed to him. His Holiness met an Avadhoot saint at Himalayas. That Avadhoot saint now we refer to as Mahaguruji is one among the ten Atheendriya njanis (transcendentalists) in this world who bestowed only three in the whole world with Deeksha (Spiritual initiation). It is Mahaguruji who unveiled the divinity veiled in Swamiji. Sadguru Hemantha Shankara is the primo disciple of Mahaguruji.

More over Swami Hemantha Shankara is a master in martial arts who can provide theoretical explanations in each step. Swamiji has achieved 9th degree Black Belt in Kickboxing, 5th degree Black Belt in Karate, 5th degree Black Belt in Kung Fu and 4th degree Black Belt in Kobudo. Swamiji is also trained in various traditional martial arts like Kalaripayattu, Wrestling, Judo, Tai chi, etc. Although HE maintained deep contemplation and communion with the Supreme which led to his Enlightenment and realised the divine definition of Srushti, Sthithi and Samhara. For Swamiji, martial arts is a way of spiritual life.
